About

Richard Kwanya

From a young age, I often found myself questioning whether life could ever be truly enjoyable or meaningful. I felt a persistent sense of uncertainty, inner unrest, and a growing emptiness, even as I searched for joy, fulfillment, and a sense of purpose. I wrestled with profound questions about the nature of life, faith, and my place in the world. I longed for a profession that would not only allow me to find personal satisfaction but also enable me to make a positive impact on the lives of others. While many around me believed I was destined for ministry, I struggled to imagine that this path could provide the deep sense of fulfillment and peace I was seeking.

Over time, I discovered that true peace and contentment come to those who earnestly seek it with an open heart. Through faith, reflection, and guidance, I finally found what my heart had been longing for: a sense of purpose that transcends worldly accomplishments. This revelation transformed the way I view life and inspired me to dedicate myself to helping others navigate similar struggles. Now, I am passionate about sharing my story and God’s guidance with others who feel lost, uncertain, or unfulfilled, so that they too can discover purpose, joy, and meaning beyond mere professional success.

I consider myself a storyteller at heart, with a deep love for music, travel, and connecting with people from all walks of life. My passion for youth ministry, teaching, preaching, and mentoring has become central to my identity, and I am committed to helping young people and adults alike find meaning, direction, and hope in their lives. I strive to create spaces where individuals feel seen, heard, and empowered to pursue their God-given potential.

Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Theology at the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton, building on the foundation I gained through my Diploma in Theology. Since 2022, I have served as a peer counselor, offering guidance, support, and mentorship to my peers, and I had the honor of serving as Chairperson of the Literature Evangelism Club until 2024. These experiences have strengthened my leadership skills, deepened my faith, and reinforced my commitment to serving others through ministry and education.

Through all of these experiences, I have learned that true fulfillment comes not from external recognition or professional titles, but from dedicating oneself to a life of purpose, service, and genuine connection with others. I am excited to continue this journey, to grow both personally and spiritually, and to inspire others to discover the joy and meaning that comes from a life rooted in faith, compassion, and service.
